Into the Wilderness
Lent 2010
This
Lent travel with Franciscan Into the Wilderness. Over 45 Franciscans,
writers, artist and poets, act
as guides, pointing the way for each of us to enter our own wilderness. They
invite us to allow ourselves
to be led by the Spirit of God, open ourselves and respond to God's calling us
into the Light of the
Resurrection.
Lent offers a gift of time and opportunity to listen to Jesus' message
and to learn the ways of God. There is time to accept in
our hearts that God is all-good, trustworthy, compassionate and "enough" for
us" and to hold fast to the truth of God's unconditional
love for us and all people. In this time of reflection, there is the
opportunity to discover that which really matters -- living for God, who loves
us uniquely and unconditionally.
